MERDEKA: January 2013

Wong Fei Hung (Faisal Hussein Wong) ternyata muslim dan ia adalah ulama yang jaguh kungfu dan juga seorang tabib.Selama ini kita hanya mengenal Wong Fei Hung sebagai jaguh Kung fu dalam filem Once Upon A Time in China. Dalam filem itu, watak Wong Fei Hung dimainkan oleh pelakon terkenal Hong Kong, Jet Li.

Namun siapakah sebenarnya Wong Fei Hung?

Wong Fei Hung adalah seorang Ulama, ahli Perubatan, dan ahli bela diri legenda yang namanya ditetapkan sebagai Pahlawan Nasional China oleh pemerintah China. Namun kerajaan China sering berupaya mengaburkan identiti Wong Fei Hung sebagai seorang muslim demi menjaga imej kekuasaan Komunis di China.

Wong Fei-Hung dilahirkan pada tahun 1847 di Kwantung (Guandong) dari keluarga muslim yang taat. Nama Fei pada Wong Fei Hung merupakan dialek Canton untuk menyebut nama Arab, Fais. Sementara Nama Hung juga merupakan dialek Kanton untuk menyebut nama Arab, Hussein. Jadi, bila dibahasa arab-kan, namanya ialah Faisal Hussein Wong.

Ayahnya, Wong Kay-Ying adalah seorang Ulama, dan tabib ahli ilmu perubatan tradisional, serta ahli bela diri tradisional Tiongkok (wushu / kungfu). Ayahnya memiliki sebuah klinik perubatan bernama Po Chi Lam di Canton (ibukota Guandong). Wong Kay-Ying merupakan seorang ulama yang menguasai ilmu wushu peringkat tertinggi. Ketinggian ilmu bela diri Wong Kay-Ying membuatnya dikenal sebagai salah satu dari Sepuluh Harimau Kwantung.

Kedudukan Harimau Kwantung ini di kemudian hari diwariskannya kepada Wong Fei Hung.

Kombinasi antara pengetahuan ilmu perubatan tradisional dan teknik bela diri serta ditunjang oleh keluhuran budi pekerti sebagai Muslim membuat keluarga Wong sering turun tangan membantu orang-orang lemah dan tertindas pada masa itu. Kerana itulah masyarakat Kwantung sangat menghormati dan mengidolakan Keluarga Wong.

Pesakit klinik keluarga Wong yang meminta bantuan perubatan umumnya berasal dari kalangan miskin yang tidak mampu membayar kos perubatan. Walau begitu, Keluarga Wong tetap membantu setiap pesakit yang datang dengan sungguh-sungguh. Keluarga Wong tidak pernah pandang bulu dalam membantu, tanpa mempedulikan suku, ras, agama, semua dibantu tanpa pilih kasih.

Secara rahsia, keluarga Wong terlibat aktif dalam gerakan bawah tanah melawan pemerintahan Kerajaan Ch'in yang rasuah dan penindas. Kerajaan Ch'in ialah Kerajaan yang merobohkan kekuasaan Kerajaan Yuan yang memerintah sebelumnya. Kerajaan Yuan ini dikenali sebagai satu-satunya Kerajaan Kaisar Cina yang anggota keluarganya banyak yang memeluk agama Islam.

Wong Fei-Hung mulai mengasah bakat pertahankan diri sejak berguru kepada Luk Ah-Choi yang juga pernah menjadi guru ayahnya. Luk Ah-Choi inilah yang kemudian mengajarnya dasar-dasar jurus Hung Gar yang membuat Fei Hung berjaya melahirkan Jurus Tendangan Tanpa Bayangan yang menjadi lagenda. Dasar-dasar jurus Hung Gar ditemukan, dikembangkan dan merupakan handalan dari Hung Hei-Kwun, abang seperguruan Luk Ah-Choi. Hung Hei-Kwun adalah seorang pendekar Shaolin yang terlepas dari peristiwa pembakaran dan pembunuhan oleh pemerintahan Kerajaan Ch'in pada 1734.

Hung Hei-Kwun ini adalah pemimpin pemberontakan bersejarah yang hampir mengalahkan Kerajaan penjajah Ch'in yang datang dari Manchuria (sekarang kita mengenalnya sebagai Korea). Jika saja pemerintah Ch'in tidak meminta bantuan pasukan-pasukan bersenjata bangsa asing (Rusia, England, Jepun), pemberontakan pimpinan Hung Hei-Kwun itu nescaya akan berjaya menghalau pendudukan Kerajaan Ch'in.

Setelah berguru kepada Luk Ah-Choi, Wong Fei-Hung kemudian berguru pada ayahnya sendiri hingga pada awal usia 20-an tahun, ia telah menjadi ahli perubatan dan bela diri terkemuka. Bahkan ia berjaya mengembangkannya menjadi lebih maju. Kemampuan ilmu pertahankan diri semakin sukar ditandingi ketika ia berhasil membuat jurus baru yang sangat taktikal namun cekap yang dinamakan Jurus Cakar Harimau dan Jurus Sembilan Pukulan Khusus. Selain dengan tangan kosong, Wong Fei-Hung juga mahir menggunakan bermacam-macam senjata. Masyarakat Canton pernah menyaksikan langsung dengan mata kepala mereka sendiri bagaimana ia seorang diri dengan hanya memegang tongkat berjaya menewaskan lebih dari 30 orang jaguh pelabuhan berbadan tegap dan kejam di Canton.

Dalam kehidupan keluarga, Allah banyak mengujinya dengan berbagai ujian. Seorang anaknya terbunuh dalam suatu kejadian pergaduhan dengan mafia Canton. Wong Fei-Hung tiga kali menikah kerana isteri-isterinya meninggal dalam usia muda. Setelah isteri ketiganya meninggal dunia, Wong Fei-Hung memutuskan untuk hidup sendiri sampai kemudian ia bertemu dengan Mok Gwai Lan, seorang perempuan muda yang kebetulan juga ahli bela diri. Mok Gwai Lan ini kemudian menjadi pasangan hidupnya hingga akhir hayat. Mok Gwai Lan turut mengajar bela diri pada kelas khusus perempuan di perguruan suaminya.

Wong Fei-Hung meninggal dengan meninggalkan nama harum yang membuatnya dikenali sebagai manusia yang hidup mulia, salah satu pilihan hidup yang diberikan Allah kepada seorang muslim selain mati Syahid.

Jika anda selama ini malas untuk berjalan , fikirkanlah kembali. Menurut satu kajian, berjalan boleh mengurangkan lapan jenis penyakit. Malah boleh menyembuhkan penyakit tanpa harus mengeluarkan wang.

Mulai sekarang rajin-rajinlah berjalan dan rasakan manfaatnya. Berikut 8 jenis penyakit yang boleh disembuhkan dengan berjalan yang bertumpu pada kaki tersebut.

1. Serangan Jantung : Berjalan boleh mengurangkan risiko serangan jantung. Otot jantung memerlukan aliran darah lebih deras (dari pembuluh koroner ) agar segar dan berfungsi normal mengepam darah tanpa henti.

Berjalan dengan cepat boleh mengalirkan darah ke dalam jantung. Dengan sering berjalan , kolesterol baik (HDL) yang bekerja sebagai spans penyerap kolesterol (LDL) akan meningkat dengan berjalan kaki tergopoh-gopoh.

Tidak banyak cara di luar dapat mengubat seperti ini. Berjalan dengan cepat boleh menurunkan risiko serangan jantung.

2. Stroke : Satu kajian dilakukan kepada 70 ribu pesakit di Harvard School of Public Healthyang bekerja sambil berjalan kaki sebanyak 20 jam dalam seminggu, hasilnya risiko diserang stroke menurun hingga dua pertiga.

3. Membakar Lemak : Rutin berjalan kaki akan meningkatkan metabolisme tubuh. Selain sejumlah kalori terbuang oleh aktiviti berjalan kaki, kelebihan kalori yang tersimpan di dalam tubuh akan ikut terbakar,kemudian kenaikan berat badan tidak terjadi.

4. Melangsingkan Badan : jika anda kelebihan berat badan, mulailah untuk rutin berjalan Pergerakan kaki hingga seluruh tubuh mampu menurunkan berat badan dan lemak yang ada terutama diperut anda akan terkikis. Lakukan berjalan kaki secara rutin selama satu jam.

5. Kanser : Gejala kanser akan lenyap dengan sendirinya jika kita rajin jalan kaki. Kanker yang dimaksudkan adalah jenis kanser usus besar (colorectal carcinoma).

Kita tahu, bergerak badan ikut melancarkan peristaltik usus, sehingga buang air besar lebih lancar. Kanser usus dicetuskan oleh najis tertahan lama dalam saluran pencernaan. Sementara dalam satu kajian lain, berjalan boleh menurunkan risiko terkena kanser payudara.

6. Mencegah Osteoporosis : Sering berjalan bukan hanya otot-otot badan menjadi sihat, rangka atau tulang di dalam tubuh anda juga akan menjadi sihat dan kuat.

Osteoporosis tidak cukup hanya dengan rutin mengambil vitamin D dan kalsium yang banyak, tubuh juga memerlukan gerak badan dan memerlukan waktu paling kurang 15 minit dibawah sinar matahari pagi dan anda akan terhindar dari osteoporosis.

7. Mencegah Kencing Manis : Dengan rutin berjalan kira-kira 6 km per jam, dalam tempuh sekitar 50 minit, mampu mencegah berkembangnya diabetes tipe 2, khususnya pada mereka yang bertubuh gemuk (National Institute of Diabetes and Gigesive & Kidney Diseases).

Selagi gula darah boleh dikawal hanya dengan cara bergerak badan (brisk walking), ubat tidak diperlukan. Anda hanya memerlukan berjalan secara rutin untuk terus menjaga kesihatan badan dan terhindar dari diabetes.

8. Depresi : Berjalan kaki dengan cepat boleh menggantikan ubat anti depresan yang biasanya diminum secara rutin oleh pesakit depresi. Mulai sekarang, rajinlah berjalan kaki akan menyembuhkan pesakit yang tengah depresi.
